    Still no Bill Shankly tribute??

For me, the most charasmatic football manager in the history of the game. One quality he had that is sorely lacking in todays managers is wit.

He had a vision and plan and put it into action with incredible results.

One of my favourite Shankly stories is that he changed the kit, (previously white shorts), to all red, dressed Ron Yeats up in the kit and said, ‘this is going to scare them to death’.

    Legend and icon.
