Sassuolo striker Domenico Berardi Linked with Reds

18-Year-Old Striker Domenico Berardi has been linked with interest from Liverpool by Sky Sports News today. The rumour reportedly comes from the Striker’s agent, who claims that interest is being shown from all over Europe, including Manchester City and Serie A’s Juventus to name but a few.

“Juventus, Roma and Manchester City seeking Berardi? These are not rumours – this is real interest,” Galli told tuttojuve.com.

“During recent weeks these clubs have sent observers to see Sassuolo’s matches on many occasions.

“Manchester City’s scouts have often come from England.”

Sassuolo’s General Director told also calciomercato.it: “We have received accreditation requests to view our games in recent times from English clubs such as Liverpool and Southampton.

“But it is too early to talk about the market so there has been no contact with any club.”

“Berardi has important qualities and certainly he deserves attention, but I think the guy has yet to grow and that Sassuolo is the right place for him to do it,” he added.

“We would like to keep the whole team until the end of the season, then in June we’ll see.”

The youngster, who currently plays for Sassuolo in Italy’s second tier Serie B, has netted 3 goals in 10 appearences in the current season and has demonstrated some highly impressive performances thus far.

1 win in 9 games is it really good enough no.surely fsg are watching these games and noticing we have no back up.the one thing I have against Rodgers is he knows this and we have Morgan and yesil in the squad and they don’t get a chance, sort it out Rodgers and fsg before its to late

no point in asking the owners to do anything, they do not no or understand football.

as long as the owners r making money, wages r being cut, they r happy.
they r business men, not football men

BR is on peanuts per year at the club in terms of wages.

at least LFC r a top 15 team in the EPL at the mo.

Hate to say i told you so ……
The silence from FSG is deafening. Remember how J Henry stared down disrespecfully at Kenny after the FA cup final? Well now hes got a manager in BR who fits his mediocre plans. It means he will have three years of so-called rebuilding and then he can make a profit on selling the club when a significant offer comes along. This buys him time. People need to see through this opportunist for what he really is.

all smoke n mirrors by FSG and that kunt ayre.

i do not trust them all

if FSG dropped their silly asking price, LFC wud have new owners by the end of this season, who have the funds to spend on quality players and for the team to be successful on the pitch 1st, and the rest comes a close 2nd.

  3. Jamaican says:

Disappointed but that how it goes, just keep on being LFC cause some of us still support this club and a bad result or string of them is a set back but aint the end of the world. BR has the toughest job of all managers as his squad is made up of kids and over the hill players also the bench aint of much help but i’ll keep praying for at least 2 new faces in January.

  4. topscout says:

even god can not help BR or LFC,
as long as FSG r still in charge, with ayre

Anfield Iron Exactly… typical YANKS mentality. For some reason, I always thought John Henry was a poor man’s Abramovich/Mansour & hell I was quite right as they decided to go with the cheapest option, i.e, upgrading Anfield.

But criticizing Rodgers is quite a lame move because quite frankly FSG have not backed Rodgers with the same amount of money compared to Kenny.
Kenny is also the main reason of why we’re struggling so badly on the pitch as all his signings are sh*t !
