Maxi Set for Reds Return

Maxi Set for Reds Return

Posted on 17. Feb, 2012 by in News

Liverpool’s Maxi Rodriguez set to return to the squad to face Brighton in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Sunday.

Maxi has been absent with a foot injury for the past three weeks, but manager Kenny Dalglish believes he will be back in action before long after making a full recovery.

“Maxi is back training. He had a kick on his foot in training but he’s fine now,” said the boss.

“He’s back in the Argentina squad which is good for him.”

Dalglish also welcomes teenage full-backs Jon Flanagan and Jack Robinson back into the first team fold ahead of the visit of the southerners.

“Everybody who is fit is in our thinking for Sunday, even Flanno and Jack Robbo,” he said. “We have had to be careful with Flanno as he has had an injury but he is back in the frame.”

welcome back Maxi. King Kenny should play Adams ahead of Hendo. In midfield King Kenny should play Stevie G., Adams, Spearing and Bellamy. Jah bless. Reds 4ever. YNWA

Good to have ya back Maxi, give em hell.
Spearing works hard but lacks class and passing from him is poor. Henderson and Adam ain’t cutting it for me either tho we gotta try with em cuz we got no one else to turn to at the moment. LFC always YNWA.
