Highlights: Liverpool secured a morale boosting victory over Newcastle at Anfield last night, ensuring that they ended 2011 on a high. Despite falling behind, the Reds fought back to claim all three points, the first time they have done so since their opening match of the year, when a 1-0 deficit was turned around to a 2-1 win over Bolton on New Year’s Day

Clinical display by LFC glad to see us score 3 goals but im still unconvinced by AC and Hendo’s performance, speraing showed that he is good enough to fill Lucas shoes Bellamy should start every game and AC can come in as super sub gr8 2 see Stevie G make a dream comeback and show his influence and class with the perfect comeback bring on man city

AC’s first touch is atrocious at the moment, but I’m really not seeing why people are still deriding Henderson. The kid got an assist with Gerrard’s goal, closes down space, works relentlessly, has a fantastic passing range and defends far better than people give him credit for. He made Ameobi look like a tit in the second half with one dispossession in particular. No one can expect him to be Gerrard Mk.II yet, but he’ll get there.
Downing’s looking good with Johnson too; loads more effective on the right. Would love to be able to nick Mata from Chelski to partner his fellow Spaniard, Enrique, down the left though…

great win, 3 points and the performance was ok.
adam, hendo, downing need to up their game or KD needs to get sign at least 3 quality players next month ie my choice,, de rossi, shaquiri, a johnson,,if city sign another winger.
and a striker on loan.
