Jose Enrique Fit for Utd Clash

Posted on 10. Feb, 2012 by in News

Kenny Dalglish has been handed a welcome fitness boost with the news that Jose Enrique should be fit to face Manchester Utd on Saturday.

Glen Johnson deputised at left-back last time out, and did a good job of subduing Spurs’ forward thinking full-back Kyle Walker. However, it looks as though Enrique will go straight back into the side as Dalglish has confirmed that he expects the Spaniard to be fit to take part.

“We’re looking alright, I don’t think we’re too bad and we should have everybody to choose from.” said the King.

“If we say everybody, I think that includes Jose Enrique.”

Martin Kelly is likely to drop back down to the bench to accommodate Enrique.

Neil very charitable of you to give them a chance by only fielding 10 players but think we should start with 11!
    Reina
    J’son, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique
    Spearing, Gerrard, Hendo
    Suarez, Carroll, Bellamy
Henderson can pop out wide an Bellamy can drop bit further back to play 442 an Suarez could drop back to pick up ball making it more a 451 but no reason to change the 433 thats been working well recently.

Adam’s been decent the last couple of games, I’d leave him in the starting 11.

    Topper your nuts!!

If there is any team United are afraid of it is Liverpool.
The reason they fear Liverpool is unlike everyone else who lay down and die, assuming they are going to get beat by Man United and get nothing from the game.
Liverpool never ever go into this match accepting United are going to steam roll them over..
    Far from it my friend.
If you have learned anything over the years, its these kind of games that actually make the Liverpool Reds play even better than even they expect.
No United will not want to be losing at home to King Kenny, but they will know Suarez, Gerrard, and Bellamy will never accept second best ever…
    Just a thought.

I’ll play a 4-2-3-1: Reina; Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique; Spearing, Henderson; Suarez, Gerrard, Bellamy; Carroll. 3 points absolutely vital today, cant afford to let the gap between us and 4th place get out of reach.
